Endowment and Legacy Planning
As Executive Director of Tomorrow’s Women, a peacemaking and leadership organization for young Israeli and Palestinian women, Tarrie launched an endowment and legacy gifts campaign that secured the organization’s largest individual gift. This new income stream will ensure the sustainability of Tomorrow’s Women’s mission for generations to come.

Community Outreach
While at the Foundation for Early Learning, to promote STEAM education, Ghida spearheaded the creation of the UNI portable science lab. By partnering with the Washington State Library system, early learning coalitions, she helped deliver hands-on learning experiences to more than 1,000 children and families statewide, expanding access to early learning in rural communities.

Theory of Change
Tarrie led the development of a Theory of Change at Tomorrow’s Women, aligning staff, board, alumni, and partners around clear pathways from programs to impact. This framework clarified priorities, measurable outcomes, and assumptions, enabling significant funding from USAID and Canadian PSOPS, supporting program expansion and empowering young women leaders in conflict-affected communities.

Event Production
At Thrive Washington, Ghida produced the organization’s inaugural luncheon, a high-profile gathering of leaders from the early learning sector in Washington State. The event celebrated the impact of former First Lady of Washington State Mona Locke and Bill Gates Sr. had on the field of early learning while raising significant funds to support Thrive Washington’s programs.

Organizational Growth
Tarrie launched a successful new office for the refugee reseetlement program she directed, effectively moving the organization into a mutli-state operation. She developed critical community stakeholder relationships and strategically hired a diverse, multi-cultural staff. This new office became a national leader in economic, mental health and wellness, and agricultural initiatives receiving thousands of refugee & asylee newcomers , while enriching the receiving community.

New Income Streams
At InvestED, Ghida expanded institutional funding by partnering with statewide community foundations to secure direct investments in the Seattle-based InvestED Fund, providing essential support—tuition, materials, and enrichment programs—to middle and high school students in need. Her work strengthened funding partnerships, increased sustainability, and expanded impact for hundreds of underserved students statewide.

Strategic Planning & Board Development
Building strategy for a small grassroots organization in a rural mountain community helped the Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership transition from founder-driven momentum to a long-term plan, securing new funding sources and a clear vision with defined program outcomes. Similarly, Tarrie applied her expertise to Tomorrow’s Women’s Board of directors, recruiting skilled professionals in finance, fundraising, and community building who reflected the diversity of the Palestinian and Israeli young women the organization serves.

Systems Change
To address the lack of peacemaking opportunities for Palestinian women, Ghida partnered with global funders—including USAID, Together Women Rise, and the Palestinian Affairs Unit—to launch a community of practice for young women from the West Bank and Gaza. The program provided trauma healing, leadership development, and the support needed to foster a united Palestinian narrative.
